"When he saw the crowds, he felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.” - Matthew 9:36-38

Damascus Church was birthed from a desire to see the kingdom of God multiplied across the world. Everywhere we look, we see people without life, without hope, and without purpose. We believe the greatest way to have compassion on a dying and suffering world is to give people the "light of the world" - Jesus Christ. We too have experienced the pain and brokenness of sin, but we have also seen the power of God to bring beauty from ashes and restore what has been broken. 

Damascus Church will celebrate its public launch on October 15th.
